Your coworkers aren’t trying to drive you nuts—they’re just wired differently than you

Discover Your Strengths
Different isn’t the problem. In fact, it’s the point. The real challenge comes when people don’t understand each other’s differences. What looks like resistance, laziness, or being “difficult” is often just someone showing up in their own natural way.

Does any of this sound familiar on your team?
  • Certain teammates clash because they think and work in opposite ways.
  • Some people get labeled “too much” while others get dismissed as “not enough.”
  • Collaboration feels harder than it should, even though everyone’s capable.
  • Talented employees get frustrated or disengaged because their strengths aren’t recognized.
  • You spend more energy working around each other than actually working together.

This is where CliftonStrengths comes in. It gives people a language for understanding how they—and their teammates—naturally think, work, and lead. Suddenly, the things that were driving everyone nuts start to make sense (and even become assets).

Thank goodness we’re not all the same—

work would be boring, and half the job would never get done.

"We use our strength categories to work better as a team and continually improve our internal and external communications. We can't say enough about how Susan has helped our employees and organization in taking Strength Finders to the next level in our organization."

“In sharing our strengths with each other through interactive and engaging activities, we were able to heal a challenging relationship between myself and a colleague. We came to see that what the other person was doing wasn’t out of spite or ill will, it was sincerely our strengths at work – which just so happened to be perceived in a negative way by the team member. Once we were able to see how a strength in one area might not be ideal for another person, it was mind blowing. My colleague and I get along so much better now that we see each other with these new eyes.”

The Work Well Co Approach

The goal isn’t to make everyone “well-rounded” or the same. It’s to help people see what they bring to the table, understand what others bring, and learn how to work with those differences instead of against them.

Dig in 1:1

I meet individually with people to unpack
what their results mean and how those
strengths show up at work.

02

Bring the team
together

We map everyone’s strengths and use
them as a lens to talk about real issues:
communication, collaboration, conflict,
and trust.

03

Start with the
individual

Each team member takes the
CliftonStrengths assessment to discover
their top themes.

01

Put it into practice

We use strengths language in real conversations so it sticks. You’ll see it pop up in all of the work we do together!

05

Spot the patterns

Together, we look at where the team has
natural momentum and where gaps or
blind spots might trip them up.

What is
CliftonStrengths?

CliftonStrengths is a research-based assessment that identifies what you naturally do best—and how to put those strengths to work. Instead of labeling people or putting them in a box, it highlights the unique patterns that make each person effective.

I don’t use CliftonStrengths as a personality quiz party trick. I use it as a practical tool for shifting team dynamics.

In short: less eye-rolling, more “ohhh, that’s why you do it that way.”

CliftonStrengths doesn’t change who people are—it changes how they see themselves and each other. After this work, your team will have:
  1. A shared language that makes differences less personal and more productive
  2. New appreciation for what each person brings to the table (even the stuff that used to be frustrating)
  3. Insight into where the team’s natural energy lies—and how to use it
  4. Practical ways to flex around blind spots without blame or finger-pointing
  5. Stronger trust and collaboration, built on seeing each other’s best instead of assuming the worst

frequently asked questions

Should I take the assessment before we work together?

No need. I’ll walk you through the process and then help you make sense of the results—so it’s not just numbers on a page, but insights you can actually use.

I’ve already taken CliftonStrengths. Should I take it again since I’ve changed so much?

Probably not. Gallup’s research shows that while your experiences shape you, your core strengths stay steady over time. In other words: who you are drives how you respond to what happens, not the other way around. We’ll work with your original results—and if you’ve misplaced them, I can help you dig them up.

Do you work with individuals on CliftonStrengths, or just teams?

Both. Whether you’re part of a team or flying solo, understanding your strengths is a powerful way to grow, communicate better, and lead with more intention.
